@cabjorkman I know, I just love them! Beau is a rescued Boxer & I think his previous owner must have teased him unmercifully! He would eat someone to protect me, but he also turned on me a couple of times before he realized what he was doing. (A very short fuse!) Then when he saw my blood, he looked shocked & ashamed. I had to get stitches & when I returned home he couldn't even look at me.

He wouldn't let me out of his sight. Awful to feel like your going to get dumped. We've been together for over a year now and I don't blow in his face anymore!! We communicate really well & he's sharp! He's learned to trust me much more & has figured out that I really do love him! What would we do without them?

This pic is of my Monty who passed a few years ago (an angel), I rescued another one (only 9 months old & now he's gonna be 4) & he is a wholly terror (devil) lol.. You just don't know what u get with rescues but I still love crazy Toby & I can't imagine him with anyone else & I'm sure you feel the same way about Beau!!! If Beau is being lovey give him a smooshy kiss from me!! 😘🐶🐾🐾❤️

@cabjorkman Monty's teeth look like my Emma's, lol. She was my all time favorite Boxer. She was a sexy girl, all muscled up & shiny coat, but her teeth were just crooked little nubs! Beau has come a long way. He's extremely affectionate, loves to hug & is always laying that big heavy head on me. I think we'll be fine, he just had to learn to trust me. Good luck with Toby, lol! He probably enjoys being a little devilish!
