yourstatement @bckay1 Hi Carol. First let me say that Poshmark has some great tutorials. Next; to sell an item just go to the bottom of your screen and click on sell. The next thing you do is to take a photo of your item. This opens the listing. You can add more photos as well. You will find that most sellers have their own way of presenting an item. It helps to look at different listings to get an idea.

yourstatement @bckay1 Go to closets that have a large number of listings and a large number of followers. These are sellers who have been selling for a while and have worked out some of the kinks of listing items. It is a learning curve but if you like to learn new things you will have a great adventure. yourstatement @bckay1 When you click on the Poshmark app, at the bottom of the screen in the right corner is your closet. Click on that. Scroll up to the top and you will find “Your guide to Poshmark” Click on that and it will open up a menu. Also, you can scroll down and find “Frequently asked questions” where you can find some useful information. I hope this is helpful. There are YouTube videos posted from current and previous sellers but I have personally never relied on them as some are quite out of date.

yourstatement @bckay1 You will not learn EVERYTHING you need to know from tutorials or even talking with other sellers. Some of your knowledge will come by simply doing. We all makes mistakes at times. It’s not brain surgery and nobody dies. It’s all good. The trick is to learn as much as you can from your triumphs and mistakes and get back up and get with it!!

yourstatement @bckay1 You will need some shipping supplies. Go to USPS and set up an account. It is VERY EASY. Then you can order boxes for free from the post office. I order the plain Priority mail boxes that come in different sizes. At Poshmark we can also use the Priority Fat Rate boxes but I find the plain Priority boxes sizes are great.

yourstatement @bckay1 Your first delivery may take about 1 week. I get my shipping tape from Walmart. It’s a good idea to place your items in a plastic bag before putting them in the box. This protects the item that may be left on a front porch during rain. I hope this helps.
