jeepskydive The WAVE, so impressive! “Distance hiker me” has applied for a permit each year but 2020… still waiting. Meanwhile, I completed the Annapurna circuit in Nepal and Inca Trail in Peru, so hope to drive to Kanab, and try a walk-in at permit office. Any suggestions?

paintedgrass @jeepskydive Honestly, the whole area is beautiful! If you come through and can't get a permit, I'd recommend checking out White Pocket and Buckskin Gulch! Plenty of sights to see that don't require permits ;) Good luck!
