fraufinster Hi Carolina! I just wanted to let you know the postal carrier was unable to deliver the coat. They are requiring an additional postage of almost $10. I’m guessing it was shipped in a Priority Express box, instead of a regular Priority box. I believe the only other reason for an increased postage cost would be if the weight were over 5 pounds.

fraufinster @carolinamend885 Well in order to get the package, I’d have to go to the post office and pay the additional postage and pick it up. If I don’t do that, it gets shipped back to you. I believe that only happens after it’s been a month and it’s still unclaimed.

carolinamend885 @daffodill21 That’s so weird because I didn’t send it express and I just checked my receipt of drop off and it weighed 2lb 7oz. I am going to inquire with poshmark and let you know. I also checked the tracking and it says delivered.

fraufinster @carolinamend885 Yeah I’ve run into this before, and USPS will mark an item as delivered when they merely attempt to deliver it (even if they don’t actually leave it at the location). They’ve been doing a fantastic job lately. I had an outgoing package marked as delivered (at my own house) this week when they picked it up. 🙄

fraufinster @carolinamend885 I let Posh know, but they never want to reach out to USPS and investigate. I guess it’s too much work for them. They always wait for the buyer or seller to resolve the issue.

carolinamend885 @daffodill21 Hi I spoke with USPS they say they don’t have it at the post office. They said it was delivered at the mailbox. Also I asked about the extra postage they said it was fine they never needed extra postage. Hope the packet got to you.

fraufinster @carolinamend885 Nope. I still don’t have it. That information isn’t correct, which doesn’t surprise me. What they left in my mailbox was a notice, telling me that I owe them money and to pick up the package at the post office.

carolinamend885 @daffodill21 I’ll try calling again tomorrow directly to your post office and see if I can relay this information. Unfortunately there’s nothing else I can do, I’m trying my best to get information. They even printed out the scan record of the package for me.

carolinamend885 @daffodill21 hi, I spoke with USPS again they reiterated that the package was delivered. I also got a response from poshmark which told me to direct you to the support center. I really wish I could be of more help.

fraufinster @carolinamend885 Yeah I told Posh they really need to come up with a better resolution. I’ve run into this issue many times, and their only suggestions are to go to the post office and pay the fees and pick up the package or let it get sent back to the seller. They never want to resolve the issue for the buyer. I told them it’s really getting old, after having gone through this like 10 times.
