Hi! I'm Carolyn. Thank you for visiting my closet. Poshmark has been a fun journey. I don't know if anyone reads these, but a little about me....I'm a retired (but not tired) wife, mom, grandma and great grandma. My absolute favorite thing to do is spend time with my family but since our kids live a few hours away, it's not possible to spend every weekend with them. So hello Poshmark!! I love the hunt of finding treasures. And it supports my purse habit. I love purses but I don't carry them for a long time so I trade them out often. All pre-loved clothing comes freshly laundered, ready to wear. All leather purses have been sanitized. I ship same day, if possible or the next business day. My home is smoke free and pet free. Always feel free to make a reasonable offer and create bundles to save on shipping....within the 5# limit.

carolynw2019 @roblyn24 okay, here goes....question #1. How can you keep up with following everyone. I have been on three times today alone for approx. two hours each time. Following and sharing. Tonight I had over 200 and don't misunderstand, I appreciate them all, but before I was complete I had over 100 more. And hen before I completed all those, had 60 more. I just don't think I can keep up the pace and take care of my other things. Thanks for any insight/help in this.

roblyn24 @carolynw2019 it can be overwhelming. You just follow and share a few items as you can. This should be fun, but. you can get stressed. Just don't let it. Don't worry about"keeping up". Build your closet and make some sales. Your following and followers will add up naturally. Down the road, if you want more followers fast, let me know. There are ways to do that. Good luck! 🍀

roblyn24 I hope what I said helped you. Following and sharing are how this place works. But you won't be able to keep up with everyone. You will always see numbers reappear on your bell icon at the bottom. You will not get them all. That's okay, really. When I became an ambassador, I burnt out quickly trying to be so careful and greet everyone new. I still greet people but it doesn't overwhelm me. I have hundreds at a time, I just do what I can.

I am sharing and doing the parties when I can. Maybe my closet is not appealing. Is this typical or shall I bow out and say I gave it a good try. Thanks for any input.

Just keep sharing and following and you will sell something! And once you've sold one, it seems to go faster. Add more things to your closet when you can. Get more followers bc that's more exposure.

carolynw2019 @briannastull I have question.....some poshers have hundreds of items in their closet. I have only a few (so far). When you are at a posh party or just sharing your closet, is there a way you can share the entire closet with one key stroke or do you have to click on each one. Thanks for your help.

briannastull @carolynw2019 I fortunately, you need to share them one at a time. I use the ENL method if I’m on my phone. I can go through go through my 60+ items all at once this way. I couldn’t have done it when I had 309+. Just go to your item, tap edit and immediately tap list. That will share your item to the party - if it fits the parameter - but will share other items to your followers. It allows you to share all your items at once!

I have tried downloading the app to my phone & logging in but it says it doesn't recognize my email addrs then why I try it w/my username,it doesn't recognize it either. Then I tried creating an acct & it says that name has already been used. CRAZY!!! I'll eventually get something figured out. Have a good day today. & again thank you for your help.

Also, how do I know if they accepted my offer or not. I assume they will show sold on my closet page? briannastull @carolynw2019 I def don’t think that’s too soon. People sometimes bundle, see something else and move on. So sooner is better. Did you mean frayed out? Go to My Sales and make sure one of the items didn’t sell. That will cause your bundle to not be active.

Is there anyway that I can back out the sold on the sweater so she can bundle it to save on shipping costs. briannastull @carolynw2019 that’s a great question! I Probably only have about 50 Items right now that are for sale. I sell on 3 different platforms and have done fairly well in November and December. On Poshmark, I use the 30 MM and when I do so every day, I always have good sales. I only share all my items once or twice a day.

briannastull @carolynw2019 pleSe don’t consider it as bothering me. I’m always here to help. It usually means they don’t have enough credit or money m their account to Pay for the item. It can also mean there credit or debit card expires. Posh will reach out to them but I do also. I just write something like, “your offer was accepted but it appears that your credit card may have expired or something. Just contact Posh and they will help you get it taken care of”.

It getting time to file taxes, I haven't made hardly anything but do we need to report it on our tax forms? And, then, if we do, I would guess, we could deduct what we have spent on things, as well. briannastull @carolynw2019 Please know you’re welcome to contact me anytime! However, I’m not an expert on taxes. I think the number is $600. If you make more than that, you’re supposed to file on the income. With the new sales tax and sales report, we all have to figure it out. Have you joined the FB group, Poshmark Analytics? It’s the best of all the groups and you can search for taxes within the group. I read someone that someone on there was offering to give tax advice if you contacted her.

briannastull @carolynw2019 I usually file an extension so I can take my time. This year is going to be a challenge. The sales report will let you know exactly what you sold and yes, you can def offset your profits with your expenses. I sold way to many things at cost this year, so I’m thinking I will be okay. jackiestutto @carolynw2019 From the time my feet hit the floor in the morning until midnight...it's busy busy busy...no time to breathe...got to try to make the sales...single here on my end...just me and little Hannah my dog...she follows me from room to room...sometimes wishing I knew what was on here mind. I have been here selling for a year and still am dumbfounded at times...I must love it...lol I keep going as God has blessed me in many ways.

I have the same conundrum with some vintage knock off scarves...purchased in high-end stores but made in china. I'm thinking don't mention the designer and under "Brand" put No Brand or maybe Knockoff? Just suggestions.

pjsellsthings @carolynw2019 It doesn't sound like you're trying to defraud anyone and if you make it clear without using the keywords you should be ok...but it's really your call. Ambassadors get sent reported listings to review to see if they are following rules. Highest reported "replicas" are bags and shoes. I do a lot of the reviews but I "pass" on a lot of them also. If its blatant I flag it. otherwise I select "unsure".

On the item you are wanting to purchase, go into that item and there is an offer button, make your offer, the seller will either counter or accept it. A lot of times when you “like” something the seller will make you an offer. The offer is good for 24 hours then it goes away.

carolynw2019 @buttercup1215 Well, I will try to help you. Here we go. Sometimes when a posher likes more than 1 thing from my closet, I try to bundle them for them or invite them to bundle. To make a bundle for them, select what the like and I. The upper right hand corner click on the symbol next to the “edit”. Then in the search locate them. Select that. Then you can add what they like to their bundle. Make an offer.
