Answer to your question is strictly my opinion I’m not an authenticator (although I wish I was) I’ve been collecting for a long time and probably have close to 100 pieces. I’ve been duped twice! And it always hurts🤦‍♀️ I feel that the majority if not all of the 1997 is wrong. I always find something not right about them. Sometimes it’s sloppy and sometimes the replica is spot on and only one thing is out of place.

shadesofred @rap5355 each piece has a different hallmark in different areas according to age and style. You’ll have to google and learn your hallmarks. And don’t impulse buy look at each piece and pick it apart!! ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT TIFFANY IS PERFECTION! Ask yourself on each piece is this PERFECT? Would they sell this in their store! Most of the time that question will keep you safe. 🤣 and learn your designers on the replicas they will put the wrong name on it. Although it will have a TIF stamp

shadesofred @rap5355 I adore older Tiffany. The early 2000’s and 80’s and 90’s.... the hallmarks back then are different and less perfect. That’s where knowing the different designs come into play and making sure the one you want have the correct hallmarks. The more frequent is peretti and Paloma. And some should just come with Tiffany and no name. HOPE THIS HELPS

The discontined Jitney Tote has palladium plates with the company hallmark on the front and interior of the bag. Also inside the bag should be a Tiffany blue leather tag saying "Made in Spain".

southernmostlux The one listed does not appear to have one. Also the brown spots are adhesive that was used to keep the bag together. Not a Tiffany standard on their canvas bags.
