Meet your Posher, Cassie

Hi there! Welcome to the Rescue Rags Closet! We’re a husband and wife team who love rescuing cats and beautiful clothing! Chris works for the Department of Transportation and Cassie is a social worker working with teens at risk. We also own the Half-Ass Cat Sanctuary where we rescue local kitties who need a home setting rather than a shelter setting, who have some medical needs and who just generally need some love. Caring for 20 kitties is very costly and time consuming. Each month we spend between approx. $500+ on average for food, supplies, medication and medical care. The profit we make from our reselling goes toward finding more to sell, and toward taking care of the cats in the sanctuary. We started out as failed cat foster parents and just progressed until we take in as many as we can to help with our local cat population and the overpopulation of the shelter. We very much enjoy reselling and bringing you deals and great quality products! We put a lot of pride in all of our work. If ANY issue arises, please reach out to us! We are definitely human, and very busy humans. Between full time jobs, parenting 4 kids and taking care of the kitties, we definitely make mistakes.
