csvb @teamak oh my gosh the leather just ripped right where the snap is. I was not stretching it or anything. What a disaster, I know you won't want it now but why would this happen? It almost fit perfectly and I was going to see if I should keep it after all but now what can I do to fix it? Ugh sorry, I'm just really upset now.

hcthrift @csvb omg! It’s ok. These things happen. It blows my mind when things such as this happen with such high end pieces. I always assume the materials and construction are the real reason these clothes cost so much. We can figure it out. Where exactly on the jacket did it rip? I’ll have to talk to my partner. She is a stylist and designer, also the brains of the operation, and she will know what we can do to figure it out. Again...we will figure it out.

csvb @teamak oh my gosh thank you so so much for working with me on this. I appreciate it so much! I could send a pic but I'm not sure how. It ripped right at the snap on the front top part that snaps down the collar, if that makes sense. Like the square fabric that the snap is sewn on to just came through the torn leather. It's such a soft leather and feels so nice, I just couldn't believe it would rip like that. Thank you!

hcthrift @csvb so.....If you were in NYC I’d suggest taking it to the leather spa for repair but I don’t think they have a location in SF. I reached out to a friend in SF to see if they know of a leather specialist who can access the situation. Once they get back to me I’ll let you know.

hcthrift Having not seen the rip it is tough for us to access but a good leather person should be able to make a repair. Unfortunately I can’t take it back damaged. I would have gladly accepted a return on the jacket due to sizing but if it’s ripped I’m not sure what I can do. I hope you can get it repaired. That leather is so buttery and soft.

hcthrift ****Also, if the jacket is a little snug leather does stretch, so just wear a chunky sweater with the jacket over it around the house and the leather should give a bit more room

hcthrift Can you make a fake listing for the jacket and upload a couple pictures of the damage so my we can see exactly what it looks like? Get an idea of what type of repair is needed. I’m not sure how else to send pictures.

vessabee1 Hi sorry my mom wanted $30 for the lobster float o had to change the price as I had it listed at $20. I would accept $20 though since I had it priced that way initially. I can’t accept $15 these go for a lot more online.
