Here in illinois there is no smoking allowed in public places, so There is no way I would be in contact with smokers!!! Just wondering how it could possibly smell like smoke ?? I detest cigarettes!!!!

woodca1 @laurenbeth1959 I don't know how it happened. When I opened the bag, the smell of smoke was strong...perhaps you were in proximity to a smoker when you wore it? Regardless, I put it in the dryer with a dryer sheet on steam refresh and it came out smelling fine.
