cecesprinkles @teyac71 you can’t tell if a kanken is fake by three details: the weaving of the straps, the metal buttons, and most normally, the logo on the front of the bag. Kanken backpacks have a circular logo on the front, if it is real then the logo should completely reflect (it is used as a reflector like a bike reflector). If the bag is fake it will likely have only a shimmer or no reflection whatsoever...

cecesprinkles @teyac71 ... The weaving of the bag straps is very intricate and consists of “diamond-like” weaving, it is hard to explain but you will notice it on a real Kanken. Fakes with have more rectangular weaving patterns. The buttons are made of gold color metal and you will notice that the real bags have the fox imprinted into the buttons rather than on top. Those are the most common way to tell.
