sunnybluz Hey... the name on the label for the Torrid top is: Bobby M. not Chasity... Is this correct?

beebopsmom @sunnybluz thank you!! I'm just starting to post items. do I need to add the shipping into the price? It looks like they take a good percentage out.

sunnybluz @beebopsmom ~ Poshmark takes 20% when you sell something. Your buyer will pay shipping 🤗

sunnybluz You can get the ‘Priority Mailers’ free from your post office which would work great to ship your jeans out in. Just don’t pickup the ‘Flat Rate’ shipping packaging. It’s best to just use the ‘regular Priority’ materials. 😉

sunnybluz @beebopsmom ~ it takes a little while to build your customer basis... but it will come. I like Poshmark much better than EBay. 😉

beebopsmom @sunnybluz I'm gonna ask a stupid question how do I know when they actually purchase something?
Apr 28Reply
sunnybluz
sunnybluz @beebopsmom ~ First... that isn’t a stupid question 😉. You will get an email, and if you go to your account... click on ‘My Sales’, Your sales will all be there, along with your ‘Buyers’ Closet Name. Also... you will see: ‘Sold’ on all your items in your closet that have sold... recently and also your old sold items. They never go away. 🤗

beebopsmom @sunnybluz ok thank you very much because I had someone message me about a couple items and it looked like that had bundled them maybe??? so I wasnt sure lol

sunnybluz If you go to my Closet, and scroll down slowly, you will see how they show up. I sold a few things last night and this morning. I am now printing the labels for the items that I sold last night and this morning. So, Info to my account, and my sales... and that is where I see each buyer. I click on each one... and download the shipping labels ‘One At A Time!’ And write the seller’s ‘Closet Name’ and real name on a slip of paper and tape it on each package 😉

sunnybluz
sunnybluz This is how I do it... so I don’t get the labels mixed up. Once the label is on the box or package, I take the slip of paper with their info off. Then to the post office. Keep you postal receipt... for tax purposes.

sunnybluz @beebopsmom ~ Bundling is another story. You learn every week on Posh. It took me a while to learn about bundling. If you go to one of my ‘Mask’ listings... read how I have folks click on... ‘Like’ my items, so I can bundle and give reduced shipping. Once they ‘Like’ an item... you can offer a discount ‘Offer’. I don’t discount much unless the person ‘Likes’ two or more listings. Every one has to do what works for them. You will have your little niche too. 🤗

beebopsmom @sunnybluz so I can make her an offer and see if she takes it?
Apr 28Reply
sunnybluz
sunnybluz @beebopsmom ~ Yes, you can. Just remember to charge enough to cover your 20% Poshmark fees... and a little for your packaging. I am making enough now that I pay taxes on my sales every year. That’s 30% (Approx), on the earnings from all my venues... but of course, you keep all of your receipts, gas milage, shipping materials and printer ink, Paper... etc., deductions are really important. 😉
