priscillas_posh @chelsresells Hi Chelsea! I’d love to help you dear😊. My 1st suggestion- take multiple pictures of your item. Front, back, label/size tag, usually a separate tag with the fabric content, and close up of any flaws or special details that make the item unique. You get 8 photo uploads, use em!

priscillas_posh @chelsresells 2nd- in the item listing titles don’t use emojis, but use the best description possible. Usually I start with the maker, item and finish with size. This is important because it’s how people search for items. For example- J. Crew Tweed Pencil Skirt Size 8. Then in the actual description section- add any specific details, and measurements! Otherwise, people may pass it up or you will get several questions about the item. Again, note any flaws, special or unique quality’s.

priscillas_posh @chelsresells The first photo is what people see! Make sure it’s clear, with bright natural light. It gives the best true image of what the item actually looks like. I also use an app called Photofy to do some touch ups to my photos or collages. Example if the item has a really cute back- I’ll do a collage of the front and back. Some studies show that items sell better if worn, either by you or a stock photo. secondly, on a mannequin, last is flat lay.

priscillas_posh @chelsresells Lastly, and sorry to bombard you! Is to share! Share your items during parties and or at peak times. Usually in the morning or evening, which is why Poshmark hosts parties at those times. Plus! You absolutely need to share other peoples items too! Follow people as well. The more people you follow or follow you are more eyes that actually see your closet 😊

chelsresells @priscillas_posh THANK YOU...so much!!! I'm going to revamp and take all of your advice on this. I have a mannequin on the way. I dislike flat lays, most of my clothing do not fit me so I've been unable to wear them for photos. Thank you so much for all of the suggestions. I'm super new to this and just wanna get some sales under my belt and learn from the best

frankiemac51 @chelsresells .. Hi sweetheart. I just read your bio on here. And I noticed that you had breast cancer. Survivor yayyy!! I thought I'd tell you that I had parotid gland cancer!! Crazy huh. I had to have surgery, a full neck dissection. Went through chemo and radiation. So I am so happy to hear your story, and so glad, you are ok

I went through the whole chemo, surgery radiation bit and it was awful. I’m almost 2 years in remission, next week! I’m so happy we connected and God bless! You will be the best Grammy!
