Hi! I wanted to share a bit about my boutique @21kissesco. When I was a little girl and I’d get upset, because one of my many brothers and sisters (there were 6 of us) had pulled my hair or broken my cabbage patch kid or ripped the head off my Barbie, I’d run to my dad, tears streaming down my face to tell him that the world had literally just ended because (fill in the blank). And my dad after hearing this a few times decided the only way to stop my world from ending was a kiss on the cheek for every tear. And wouldn’t you know it, it worked. Quickly we discovered that my number of kisses to stop the tears and make my worries go away was 21, and so our favorite game “21 kisses” was born. Fast forward to 2022, and after some soul searching I decided to embrace my long time love of fashion and start my own online boutique. Why fashion? If I were to distill what the perfect outfit feels like, the creative type in me would say an outpouring of love. “I love that sweater on you.” “That dress is beautiful, where’d you get it?” “You look so fancy today. I love it.” Thats what comes with the perfect outfit. Not to mention the confidence and dare I say happiness however brief. It brings love in one of its many forms. We lost my dad in 2021 to Lewy body Dementia and Parkinson’s. I could think of no better way to honor him then to name my boutique after our favorite game. And continue to share the love.
