tamraleajo Hi Cher! You just purchased a dress from me… I sold it for my daughter and just realized instead of it being J Crew brand, it is Banana Republic! I have no idea how I made this mistake when listing, but did! Let me know if you’d like to cancel the order. I would totally understand. soozen11 Unfortunately, those luxury bags in her closet ARE replicas. They are stock photos. I have no idea what you’ll receive. There won’t be any authenticity certificates. It’s a huge racket on here. You’ll see similar closets all the time: new people, new profiles, stock photos and no items over $500 because Poshmark will authenticate over $500. You’ll also see those closets eventually disappear; they need to be reported then PM removes them. But then they start again.

cherlala @soozen11 omg that’s terrible! Thank you for telling me. I had no idea! I had a bad experience but I thought that was a one off… this is so sad!!! So if I get anything over 500$ I can have posh mark authenticate it? How do I do that? Could I have them authenticated this one?

soozen11 @cherlala You can contact PM but what normally happens is the Seller sends the bag directly to Poshmark HQ after the sale for authentication. Then they would send it to you. It takes longer to receive but at least you know whether it’s legit or not. That’s automatic on items over $500. You’ll see FREE AUTHENTICATION on the item listing. Did you try canceling the order? There are of plenty of authentic bags on here from legitimate Sellers. You have to look at their profiles, feedback, etc.
