My Mom was recently diagnosed with MDS so have learned to treasure each moment. Dad and Stepfather in remission. Uncle with leukemia, he is still out flyfishing. Praise God. lemaire26 @amydaltonnola We are both from NOLA. Our families still live there & we go home several times each year. We graduated the year of the oil industry crash. Moved to MI for jobs. We hadn't planned to stay more than 5-8 years, but somehow we are at year 28+!!!! We do love having 4 seasons...I never knew fall could be so GRAND!!! What brought you to NOLA?

lemaire26 @amydaltonnola We just got back from the Porcupine Mountains. We didn't quite hit peak color but it was still MAGNIFICENT! We are both outdoorsy so Michigan has been a good fit for us. I miss all the good eating back home but we LOVE it here. (Wish the winters were just a wee bit shorter!!) By any chance, do you have any fleur de lis earrings, bracelets or necklaces? (Silver tones) I am hunting those too.
