cherylbaugh @amerika143, I cleaned my canvas on the bag with a mixture of clear dawn and water. I tried to be gentle and not lighten the colored print. I got off the dirt and oil that had accumulated over the years. You still may not get the results you want, however if the colors have faded or if the lining of the bag is bleeding through to the canvas, darkening it. White Murkamis have a tendency for this to happen. There’s really nothing you can do other than to have it repainted.

cherylbaugh @amerika143 , I don’t know if it’s true or not, but I’ve heard that LV will repair the Murkami if the print is fading. Other people have used the LV app and have received repairs. I have not pursued this yet. Although I might.

cherylbaugh @amerika143, On the leather I used a three step process. 1. Moisturize with a leather conditioner that won’t change the color of the leather (Bick 4 leather conditioner or Apple leather conditioner) 2. After it dries I clean with non alcohol/no scent baby wipes. For stubborn areas like on the handles I use saddle soap and a soft tooth brush.3. After it’s dry, condition again and buff with a microfiber cloth.
