rockinvintage Sorry to hear your package was mishandled by USPS, the package was structurally sound and didn't have a "slit" in it when I sent it, I package things very well but can't account for accidents that happen with USPS, but luckily all Posh Packages are insured, so you should start a claim with USPS for any damage done to the product, and you can contact Posh and let them know that the package arrived damaged and let them know if the shoes were damaged so you can be refunded.
