@btl11 hi! I understand. I was worried too but you can see some sticky from where it was and when you hold it in your hands you can totally tell it is authentic. I have never seen a fake in this older vintage model. Also, the cc turn lock is clearly the authentic one and all other validation keys are there. I do have the card, as I mentioned. It is definitely 18k gold plated.

@btl11 I just spoke to them, because it's more than likely from the 70s they assume it's not real. They are sending me the authenticity certificate within a few days to verify in writing.

But keep in mind I recently purchased a chanel bag, seller said it was rare from the seventies etc, well Posh could not authenticate it and sent the bag back to the posher and refunded my money. I don't know whether the bag was fake or they could not authenticate it. They even used outside resources. All.they told me was they could not authenticate.

@btl11 My mother got this bag actually at a private sales that Chanel was doing for the press in Paris. The serial number has been detached, or it might not have had a serial number because it the bag wasn’t sold in stores yet at that time. But you can tell that it’s real because of the details and the quality of the leather. And Poshmarks professional will authenticate it!
