timivie45 Hey I saw your profile picture of UGA and new right away you were a Georgia fan, I live in Athens and I also grew up here@!! I actually saw Herschel play and met him in a shoe store when I was a little kid, my mom was buying me school shoes and there he was!!! Anyways just wanted to stop by and say hello and Go Dawgs @!!! Can't wait to see what our new QB looks like next season!!!

stasiakcj @timivie45 I moved to Athens in 1982. Got to see HW play in person for 1 yr. My first Ga game ever was the Clemson Monday Labor Day game for the 1st game ever under the lights at Sanford Stadium. Went to Cedar Shoals 9/10th grade. Most of my family still lives in Athens. Go Dawgs!!

timivie45 @stasiakcj Chris that is just the coolest thing to me!!! I too went to Cedar Shoals, Go Jags!!! That's great you still have lots of family here. Athens has changed so much over the years, but I still love it!!! I've lived in Atlanta, St. Petersburg and Tampa and Hickory, North Carolina but nowhere else is quite like Athens!!! Take care man, and hope you can make it up to Athens for a game and a Pint and a show at the Georgia Theater.

stasiakcj @timivie45 My sister graduated from CS in 1988. I retired in Jax and usually make the Ga/Fl game. Don't get to Athens as much as I'd like. My step-Father has had season tix since 1975. My brother-in-law used to own Washington St Tavern across from the Court house. I've had a "couple" beers on Clayton St over the years.
