They have pay options but haven’t found it necessary & the free portion sufficient & easy to use. I use ring light bec space I process in doesn’t have great natural light. I have nail on a wall that’s grey. I use phone for pics, only trouble I’ve had is if you have a white item or lots of white trim it doesn’t work very well! Best wishes to you!
