Hi! I'm Chris. Some of my favorite brands are LV, Prada, Versace and I love designer belts watches and bags. Im looking to grow my watch collection and if your open to trades in your guy. ALL of my stuff is kept phenomenal. I’m super OCD and always have been. I detail luxury cars and boats for a living so it’s in my nature to keep things clean and take care of my stuff. @katzkoz yes I do actually. So when me and a seller negotiate on a price and the price is accepted do they have a certain amount of time before they need to print and send out the item? I’m new here and do not want to be getting burned. Also say they never mark an item as sold and I buy it through the offer button. I just want to make sure that the funds are not being taken out for anything that is not sent out to me. What do I need to do on my end?

@katzkoz also I sent out 3 items yesterday with the label I received from
Posh and 2 of the items were marked as received but were not received bc I sent them out same day. It was only received at post office. Seems somehow there is miscommunications and I don’t want a buyer thinking I’m doing them wrong

@daddy0714 U will never be able to biy an item that says SOLD. Its not possible.
Once you make an offer to someone they have up to 24 hours to accpt or not.
U will see that under Ur OFFERS catagorie. It will tell U how much time they have left

@katzkoz I think you’re misunderstanding what I’m saying. If someone were to trade an item or not market as sold because they went through other methods than the actual app it could still be on the page. Also you can hit purchase instead of making an offer so if I purchase something and the person doesn’t go and see it for five days then what happens? Do they have a certain amount of time to mail something out or is it at their convenience

@daddy0714 As far as pnce U have mailed something to the buyer they have up to 3 dats to accept it. Once they do accept Posh will inform U via email. Then U cam release the funds Urself under SALES or BALANCE. It depends on Ur bank how fast U get it in.
It takes mine overnight unless its weekends

@katzkoz So what about if I purchase an item from someone but they don’t log onto their account for five days and see that someone has purchased it. Is it at their convenience or do they have a certain amount of time to send out an item before it expires that’s one of the questions but I think you answer the other question as far as Posh releasing payment

@daddy0714 What U might want to do is look at the top of Ur main page(where all Ur stats R and whatnot) and look at Guide to Poshmark.
They are always changing things for the good

@katzkoz Yeah I guess so far not having the greatest experience because there’s not a phone number to contact someone directly at and I sent out three items yesterday and received two emails saying that they were delivered on the same day but the seller hasn’t received them.The post office receive them not the buyer but it’s making things confusing

I appreciate your trying to help and answer some of my questions but I think I will probably need to speak with a representative to get some further answers on some things. My biggest concern as I purchased an item today and the seller is yet to see it. Will that expire at some point what if she doesn’t see it for four months? I have to wait for months in order to get it I would assume

They have a certain amt of yime to send it put and if its not, Posh sends them a notice.
Once U buy something...its BOUGHT.
Theres no way for someone to get it once its sold
If the seller forsnt log into their account and not want to sell something, Ull hear about it.
Sometimes the Sellet will cancel an order if its misplaced or damafed.

@katzkoz OK thatAnswers my question. The reason I’m asking is because someone else sent me a private message for a pair of sunglasses but I don’t want to buy them if the other Sal is going to go through but I haven’t heard from the seller since I bought them does that make sense?

@daddy0714 One thing tho....and its only happened to me once....if the Post Office loses it or it was stolen something happened to it....its insured.
They will reimburse U.
Aldo if U have a Case against U (seller says its ripped, dirty whatever) they have to provide pictures to back up their claim. Posh could side with U or the buyer. They or U will get the money back.
A LOT of times Posh will side with both of U and U both get their $$ Back

When you find something you Like and then another, start a Bundle! You can easily come back to it using your Main Account Menu (Bundles are a Shopping Cart) to add/remove things. @moonmerch so I sold a bag to some girl and before it was received the listing disappeared. She opened up a return case bc she was paranoid. It was approved but since she has reveived it and to my knowledge isn’t returning it. Does she have x amount of time to return it b4 the funds are released to me?

@moonmerch she only did it bc she had no way to compare the pictures but if she plans on keeping it and doesn’t return it, will the funds eventually be released to me? Bc the case was approved b4 even getting it so is it possible to keep it and not having to end up paying me

@daddy0714 I'm sorry you're having an undesirable experience with your sale. I'm not sure if there is a time period for her to complete the return. I would email Poshmark support explaining the situation to them. Make sure you include the USPS tracking number used for that item. This will show that the bag was delivered. If she hasn't printed her return label, it's unlikely that she'd return it and Poshmark should cancel the return label and release your funds.

@moonmerch I emailed them 5 times and still haven’t received anything back. It’s not showing delivered bc before it had a chance to be delivered she put in for a return case and they ended up approving it so now it doesn’t show it just says case approved when clicking on my sales. My concern is she can keep the bag and they think she is returning it which I don’t think Is the case but I’m not sure if she is able to approve it on her end bc they haven’t released funds

@daddy0714 the status of the delivery will still show on the USPS website. I'm not sure why you haven't received a response back. I totally understand your concern and hope that the support team helps you out.

@moonmerch Yeah it’s unreal that bag emails that I receive which leads me to believe that they are just automatically generated and they don’t have a phone number to actually speak with someone that would only be convenient LOL

@daddy0714 I waited 7 days for something to ship after offer was accepted and then was told item no longer available. Some things about the system are frustrating. Oh and I am pretty sure all the items were delivered so they were either stolen or your buyer might be playing you. Keep asking questions.
