[2] Long story short, she was in a hurry (on lunch break) and couldn’t wait in the long line for service, so she put the package inside the large metal receptacle for shipping.

[3] Weird part: She felt like the package got hung up on something and had a hard time closing the pull-down door, so she tried to reach inside and was finally able to close the door, but still felt uneasy so she ended up waiting in line to talk to someone to tell them the package felt caught somewhere/somehow to her and the gentleman assured her he would take a good look when the bin was opened...

[4] Anyway, that was Tuesday and PM is still saying the package is awaiting USPS scan, so my mom is going to the post office on her lunch break again today to figure things out and I will most definitely keep you posted.
