skylarkvintage Most folks on Poshmark don't really give out their emails or communicate off-site. I'd be happy to answer any of your questions here. As best I can. I've been on for a few months now, and have got it pretty well down, but I always learn something new each day. What are your questions?

christy_anna @skylarkvintage okay thats totally fine. I was wondering how do you put sold on an item? and if someone offers an additional $50 with the origonal price to have it asap does that mean just add $50 to the asking price?

skylarkvintage This is a scammer. You absolutely DO NOT want to sell to them. I got a lot of these when I first started, and sometimes when I have a more expensive item listed in my shop. You NEVER want to do any transactions off of Poshmark. You have absolutely no protections from buyers if you do, and it's a very big No-No. It violates Poshmark rules and can put you in danger of being banned from the site.

skylarkvintage If there's one thing I've learned, it's that you want to play by the rules and make sure your closet is fully compliant. That also applies to the kinds of items you sell in your closet. Just let this person know that you'd be happy to sell it to them here on Poshmark, but cannot sell it off-site. They'll likely just disappear. Another thing to do, to make sure they're not a honest buyer, is to check on their profile. It will be brand new and have no listings for sale. Hope this helps.

skylarkvintage I just looked at the messages on your listing, and I have no doubt they're not legit. If buyers are, they'll never give you their email and ask to buy it off-site. Hope I was helpful. Don't hesitate to ask if you have any other questions.

skylarkvintage It's totally fine. If a counter offer was accepted then the item is sold. There's not really a good way to speak to buyers/sellers in the transactions. It's kinda a weird, and sometimes a pain when you want to make a comment. You can just tag the person in the comments of the listing to communicate with them. That's really the best way.
