emporiogriffin Hi Christianne, just to let you know, your watch is packed and ready to go, I’m just waiting for the post office to re open on Tuesday 4 th January. It will take a bit longer to get to you, as will be verified by Poshmark, I am sure you will love it, it’s a gorgeous piece. emporiogriffin @christiannedixi Hi Christianne, I actually bought it about 12 years ago on a trip to the UK, in an antique store, apparently a lady dropped it in, It was something that I had always wanted, but in reality I have only worn it a few times, which is no life for a watch such as this. I had the same thought as you handing it down to my daughter but it doesn’t fit her. 😔 I am SO happy it’s going to a person that will use it! ❤️

christiannedixi @pjg0017 Hi Paula, I just received the watch and I’m not sure how to properly close it? It seems to be loose and won’t lock into place? Also wondering is it needed to be wound to work? It’s definitely smaller and more delicate than I expected it to be.

emporiogriffin @christiannedixi Hi Christianne, the latch has 3 bars on it, you choose how big you want it, loop the rectangular bit on the bar you want then close it down and it clicks shut. It wasn't loose, if it is that may be down to Poshmark if they fiddled with it 🥺. I did show the measurements in the photos, yes its manual as its vintage, I usually wind up 10 times the every few hours do a couple of winds. then it's never overwound.

christiannedixi @pjg0017 yes I did that and then the clasp clicks but just the cover doesn’t stay down. I will send you a pic. And ok! I didn’t want to over wind it. Don’t want to do anything to it!!

christiannedixi @pjg0017 hi Paula, as you can see they have denied my claim. Be very careful if you have other people tens of value that they have to check before it’s shipped. As I’m absolutely positive they damaged this piece when they verified it.

christiannedixi I was extremely careful when I opened it and it is not in working condition. I am extremely disappointed. A huge gift I had been so very excited for now just was complete disappointment for a 40th. I will be sending further complaints and will NEVER buy anything on here again.
