I have been accredited for my fashion styling skills though with recognition from Vogue Magazine and Oscar winning some celebrities and major fashion industry photographers, agents & models and others. Could have taken that far too but also stupidly didn’t. I would like to think that maybe one day I will go back into the styling business.

She gets all the top designers free clothes free & is always dressed in Fendi, Chanel, Gucci, Dolce & Gabana, St Laurent, etc . She knows every designer & celebrity & model, rockstar & athlete. I envy her life really , she works hard but lives like shes a star.

The 2 nicest humble gracious ones I ever worked for are actresses Lupita Nyong’o & Danai Gurira. They’re amazing people !! The rudest ones I ever met were some of the Victorias Secret Angels & their team of hair & makeup people. The nicest designer was the late Oscar De La Renta. He was a gem. The funniest woman I ever worked with was Big Ang of Mob Wives.

nycattitude @millsv The designer stuff is nice especially the Italian designers. Their items are the BEST quality made. You can though look like a million just by putting an outfit together right. It doesnnt have to have a label exensive. I can put together a drop dead stunning outfit shoes , bag, accessories & clothing for say a hundred bucks & it will look like I spent hundreds on it. That is my passion really just putting everything together affordably.

You can get good faux ones reasonably priced. DHgate used to have amazing prices & items on all the faux designer stuff but nowadays its harder to find them there & they’ve tripled prices from only 2 yrs ago. Chinatown here in used to be the go to place for everything but now its much harder to get things there.

I do not go into the city too often anymore but will look around when I go & see if I spot any worth buying. I have taken one guys cell# that did have good ones before Covid hit here. He would be my first pick to go see what he has.

Has good stuff -I’ve seen sold for excellent prices. Many items they sell are from rich NYC people & clothing & shoes & accessories from TV soap opera shows. When I was young & a size 2 used to buy items worn on the shows by the actresses from a few different thrifts in the city. Bought great stuff they wore once only for taping the shows.

I have a real Chanel classic white with black CC logo brand new purse someone gave me years ago. Must have cist aboyt 5-6 thousand when they bought it. Si since I have borh the real & I have the fakes I can know the shape in the lettering & the stitching & design.

Some thieves were going to rob my boots off my feet on the subway a few years ago then in then in street rob my Chanel sunglasses. The train incident my friend fended them off & the sunglass incident luckily they got scared off when I yelled at them do dont even try it -I don’t wear anything too good out anywhere in NY its dangerous to.

nycattitude @millsv You will laugh at me, the real Chanel I was given I only used once. Loved the bag but afraid to even get a spot on it or scratch it. I am terrible with white anything especially white bags. I should really just sell it. Think fakes are better to buy as we will use them more. I’m going to look for some very affordable designer dupe bags for you. I will let you know what I can find. I am sure I can find great deals on them. Do you have any color or brand you want ?

Married a moron. 20 yrs & 5 kids later we split up & I”m raising 5 kids alone without a penny from him & I really struggled to keep a roof over our head & food on the table. Several years had no car either. I made some $$ doing the fashion styling & selling fashion items & working full time. Then was injured in 2009 both legs that never healed right & after that just was in chronic pain. All downhill since..

nycattitude @millsv check stitching all over should be neat & evenly sewn tightly no loose or crooked threads anything seen inconsistently is clue of a dupe. Look @the logos lettering should be same sized & spaced proportionately anything that the font of the letters looks too big or too clustered or uneven is another clue. Look@all zippers. Designers use expensive zippers called RiRi or Lampo google each & match it zippers & look under the zipper for zipper brand name it should be there.

Theres a website handbag.yournextshoe.com it gives info about spotting dupes. I have seen some designer dupe items that were real close to passing off as a real one. I have a Versace bag that people swear its real. By all the things to look fir but I know its a dupe from where I bought it but it looks damn good.

nycattitude @millsv it looks real to me the lambskin leather is thick & durable. The stitching is in good straight format. The metal studs & rivers are tight. The zipper is thick & seams around zipper flat and the zipper fabric in proportion. I would say this bag is real but to be sure could you post pics of the inside of the logo & any zippers. Take a look also at the lining if the fabric is thin or baggy thats a sign of a dupe. Designer bag linings are tightly cut theres not much give in the fabric.

nycattitude @millsv I hate Mondays , today was the day from hell here in NYC the schools all opened today the first day in 18 months that was mandatory for all to attend. Took me an hour and fifteen minutes to drive 10 miles. Then the same amount of time to travel home. When the schools are open all the idiots come out on the roads and walk the streets. Its crazy here when the schools are open all the problem people come out.

nycattitude @millsv Thats a very good quality purse the MJ bag. Pricing would depend on any flaws. Flaws are always an issue that take away value if the bag. Some flaws in purses I personally when possible hang a fancy scarve over to cover or use inexpesive dangly key chains & pom poms tge furry balls or I buy already made purse chains. If a flaw can be camouflaged then don’t go too low on price.

nycattitude @millsv I would list it 125 then work way down if you have to. Decide on a minimum what you would go with in case your listing it for months and have no buyers. I bought a Max Azria ( BCBG brand tge founders designers label ) Black Leather Bag for 35 on Poshmark about 18 months ago. Seller easily could have sold it for 85-Perfect condition good leather bag. Def do not sell less than 80-85 & thats after liwballing price after listing it later diwn the road.
