birdyblueshop @poshin_pink Hello! I have a question for you. I haven't sold anything yet, but yet a lot of comments that say verify my identity through a link. Is this a scam or is there something I'm missing that I'm supposed to do? Thank you for your help

poshin_pink @birdyblueshop that’s a scam. You don’t need to verify your identity thru a link to make a sale. Is that when the comments are coming, when someone is saying they’re going to or want to buy something?

birdyblueshop @poshin_pink I got one recently from someone with sold items and many listings saying they paid Poshmark but got a text saying it's not going through because I'm a new seller and that I need to verify something. When I look in Poshmark, though it says that everything is good and then I have the green OK. I messaged that person back and ask them a question so we'll see what they say.

poshin_pink @birdyblueshop it doesn’t not go thru because you’re a new seller. That does not sound right at all. Verify thru support before you ever follow links or do any of that: I know people won have been scammed on here. Don’t ever do a transaction off of here, where someone says to email them more pics or anything like that. You can add pics to your listing, you don’t go off posh because then they can’t help if you get scammed. Your items are good to sell whether you’re new or not

birdyblueshop Would you mind asking me the question about the bag again? I didn't realize you had asked about a purse I have offered and it was one of my first listings and doesn't have measurements.
