closet_hunter @noxfawn I have a question about sale strategy. Do you find more people buy when you ask them what they're looking for or just putting your inventory up and posting timely ads and promotions?

noxfawn @closet_hunter thank you for asking. There are so many strategies and like anything else you learn as you go too. My best advice would be to join some Poshmark groups on Facebook and Instagram.

noxfawn @closet_hunter as far as pricing goes, I always price with some wiggle room for offers and mark downs. I've had great success dropping the price of any item with more than five likes by 10% at the higher traffic times like on the weekends. Doing this notifies the shoppers who have liked your item and sometimes offers them discount shipping!

noxfawn @closet_hunter also you do have to share your own closet quite a bit to get your items seen and be descriptive as possible in your listings. Think of keywords you would use to find the item. For instance the belt you have listed, I would include braided or woven leather. It's also SUPER helpful to search for similar items that have sold.

mermaidcolours @closet_hunter She gave you great advice, most people are either on Posh looking for something specific- so keywords and brands are important. Sharing your best items can bring people to your closet because they might be browsing and see it recently uploaded, as well as other sellers will share your items.

mermaidcolours Think of it as marketing yourself/your clothes/closet but also networking :) Even if you don't share your items as much or go to the Posh parties (virtually) what you did mention above is also super helpful...deals, incentives, proper advertising of your goods. If someone likes your style, they will frequent your closet...same as a store or website. Good luck on here, I wish you many sales 🌹
