therealjwil @profumodolce in 2010 and 2012 there were some issues with the batches and how smoky and fruity they were. Rest of the years are fairly close with slight variations is all.

therealjwil @profumodolce nah I'm not Into newer stuff anymore....although that being said, I will buy it if the price is right :) I mainly focus now on original formulas of older fragrances. It seems companies now change formulas every two years or so.

therealjwil @profumodolce Some do it less but Bleu de Chanel has been changed I believe 4 times and La Nuit about 5 and they were both "born" in 2009. I'm glad you found another ! I personally like the Germany version the best of the three known reformulations. Marc Jacobs has been manufactured by 3 different companies that I know of. Lancaster, Givenchy and now Coty.

Do you go onto Raiders of the Lost Scent too lol. He tests different fragrances to see the reforms and how to identify them, it's pretty interesting, but they actually took down the La Nuit page for some reason

I found one but it's weird the batch code they gave me says 4T02, but that would mean 2014, but it was reformed in 2011 to a black stem and then again in 2015 so it doesn't make sense lol??

Apparently it has a more prominent green grass/citrus top note and better longevity. But I've heard the new reform is still pretty good, anyways thought I'd let you know lol

therealjwil @profumodolce so to the best of my knowledge on those is, they are definitely legit. I think these were the original testers or bottles that weren't released to the masses. I have a few myself and they smell great and last a lot longer than the ones out today .... that's a good find :)

profumodolce @therealjwil There's a D&G PH for sale for $18 on here, if you type in Dolce and Gabbana eau de toilette, it should pop up, but be cautious I think it's a knock off, the sticker looks off, and the lettering seems to thin, also the bottle looks misshapen on the bottom view

Hopefully it wasn't then lol, I compared my old bottles to it, if you have one, look at the bottom border of the silver tag, then the letter thickness, also the bottom view shows a lot of warping in the inside chamber, I saw slight warping in my 03 but nothing that drastic

profumodolce @kicksandbeyond Hi, not sure if they will cancel in time but if you go to your "Purchases", click on the fake Polo cologne just purchased, look for "Problems/ Order Inquiry", then choose "Accidental Purchase" at the top of the list, then click cancel order, as long as it is within 3 hours of purchasing, you can cancel the sale without any problems and will not have to rely on the seller, hope this helps!

profumodolce @dinabev Also, I believe that they are authentic, at least the square tank style one showing the movement. To check, open the caseback and check to see if the watch movement says "swiss" and not "china" as the square one does. Also, if it says "GUCCI" on the movement as well, it may not on the others but it does have to say "swiss". If you need any help, please don't hesitate to ask, again my apologies and I hope that this helps

fallon_fashion @profumodolce haha. You aren’t spamming hun:) You are good:) I play play a D-28 for all of my shows and adore it. It’s going to sound better and better with age. I wanted something now with a deeper dark sound and also bought the 0007 small bodied mahogany. It sounded amazing out of the box but won’t age as well due to the wood type:) it’s so low and sexy baddy that when I amp it up to try and play it live, it feeds back a lot because of that low E string:)
