gr8findsforyou @attayachris I don’t care what the app let you do. It’s rude. It’s cheap. You’re obviously cheap. I paid more than what you offered. I was making a statement. It’s not a me problem. Your lowball offer is why I came to say something in the first place.

attayachris @gr8findsforyou I don’t know you and you don’t know me, but you clearly felt it was appropriate to insult a perfect stranger because you received an offer on an app (that is not a retail store but actually largely based on negotiation) that you felt was too low. Then you try and defend your actions by continuing to cast aspersions about my character with what I consider shallow, petty and adolescent insults.

attayachris But the facts remain….you don’t represent anyone else on this app but yourself, yet you felt entitled enough to go out of your way to post a comment on my account telling me that I was rude and I shouldn’t “Low ball” because “We don’t do that here”. Then you went on to comment that regardless of what the app allows, I still did something wrong because I didn’t meet your personal standards.

attayachris As far as me being cheap, let me offer you that context. I volunteer in with a few different groups from northern Mass to southern N.H. that help provide services for those in need of everything from shelter, food and clothing to mental health, PTSD and addiction treatment.

attayachris We work largely off state funded programs, fundraisers and donations, but every once in a while there are people who need and deserve a little extra attention whether it’s certain diet or health restrictions or finding cloths that actually fit them or maybe more seasonally appropriate. So myself and many others use the available resources of sites like this and others to try and accommodate these situations when they come up and we use our own personal funds to do it.

attayachris This might come as a shock to you but regardless of recently setting up a new personal account, so I can do a bit more when I’m not a one of the centers, we’ve been using this site for years with great success and never before has anyone complained of an minimum offer being made.

attayachris And hundreds have gladly accepted those offers without knowing anything about our charity until after the purchase is made. And the ones that decline don’t feel any pressure or guilt. They just hit decline and move on without assuming any authority or responsibility to project their personal opinions as rules of conduct. And as far as I know, none of us have ever been accused of being “cheap” for what we do.

gr8findsforyou @attayachris all I can say is it takes two to tango? You took this way too far because I said that you lowballed me I’ve seen millions of comments on this app from other sellers that have said that to potential buyers. We actually purchased these items. We don’t get them for free if I’m asking $40 why would you offer 14 or 16 that’s ridiculous that’s lowballing in my opinion. It’s less than 50% of what I was asking if you know anything about this app, there’s a 20% fee to sellers.

gr8findsforyou @attayachris there’s a 20% fee to sellers. The item you were looking at was brand new with tags 95% of my items are all brand new. To offer such a low amount for a brand new item in my opinion is rude. Obviously, when doing that you didn’t consider the seller you only considered your needs and what you were doing with the product so to me that’s pretty selfish you have to think of both parties, of course in my opinion. Your initial response was quite rude.

gr8findsforyou @attayachris back. So of course I became defensive and rude. Anyway, I’m not wasting any more time on this. I just thought I’d give you just a small explanation regarding my perspective. Your whole dialogue was centered around you and your needs. Why don’t you start thinking of the seller? Also, this isn’t all about the buyer. You’re not buying retail. It’s not a huge company. It’s a smaller company trying to support their family. Have a great day and a great rest of your weekend.
