bamabooty22 Hi there, Just got my beautiful Chanel earrings in, they are lovely but they were not wrapped in bubble tape, tissue, anything to protect them. One has Knicks on them now. I went back to double the original pictures and I don’t see them. Is there a way I can show you pictures of it? The post office is very lax in their handle with care process, I am pretty sure the damage was done due to the continuous movement and earrings were just thrown around unprotected hitting each other. Thank you

bamabooty22 I think the postal service is overwhelmed with all the extra packages since Covid, they really just throw everything around, it doesn’t matter what is stamped fragile anymore.

chrystyryan @bamabooty22 oh no, that’s awful. I know I put bubble wrap around the entire box and I thought the earrings were clipped to the velvet inside the box. I know that none of the earrings I listed were perfect but if you think the nicks weren’t there originally I would like to make this right.

bamabooty22 You haven’t mislead anyone. I can tell you have a great store, great items. The earrings were loose inside the Chanel box. Not clipped anymore. The box was wrapped securely in bubble wrap, a very sweet card as well. They just came out of the slit in the box. I am not upset with you at all, I just hate it happened. I am not sure how to do a picture on your post, maybe I can put it on my profile page. It’s just the one earring, the dots you see on it are the knicks.

chrystyryan @bamabooty22 I’m not sure why I can’t see the pictures on your profile. I did take another look at my listing and I zoomed in on the earrings and I can definitely see some little dots on one of them. In looking at the photo with the earrings in the box, it’s the one on the left. Is that what you’re seeing?

bamabooty22 I am glad you can tell the difference as well. I wanted to make sure I wasn’t going crazy, lol. I have lots going on, my son just went to the ER, he is 35 and just had his first child that is one month old. He’s had Covid for over a week now.

bamabooty22 So scary! My friend lost her son a week and a half ago, Covid. What do you think is fair? I really loved these because they seemed to be in really good condition, a rarity in older pearls, so it was just a bummer they got damaged during the ride here, ugh, but it is what it is. chrystyryan @bamabooty22 Oh my goodness, I'm so sorry to hear about your son! I hope they are able to treat him and that he recovers soon. It is very scary indeed! I see that you recently purchased other Chanel earrings, that appear to have more damage to the pearls than mine do. If I'm reading right, you paid $150 for those and $220 for mine, so a $70 difference. How about we meet in the middle and I give you another $35 off, for a total of $185. Would that be fair?

bamabooty22 @chrystyryan yes that is fine, I just thought I finally found some in great condition. Mainly I wanted you to how they were not secure, so maybe wrapped individually in bubble tape then taped in the box perhaps. It’s just ridiculous that people have to take such extreme precautions in order to get something safely. They are a beautiful design and normally they might have made it exactly like sent if not for everything going on.

I'm not sure how to reduce the payment in Poshmark. Maybe you can accept the earrings and then when the funds are released to me I can send you $35 another way. Would that work?
