shacara_shacara Hey Chrysta! Sorry about the overwhelming smell! I handwashed the dress with a FREY detergent right before sending it (which is the smell). A rinse & a little bit of your own detergent should get it out. Apologies again! Usually using it on items in my machine wash it isn’t so strong.

Can you tell me a few things about it?Are there any rips/snags/ stains or imperfections to note?Do you happen to know the color- white or ivory?Can you tell me the length?Regarding the crystals, are there multiple colors or is that just the light and all the crystals are clear?Lastly, it looks like there are different size round crystals and marquise shaped crystals.Can you verify?Very interested. chrysta0 @jordanv012 hi! Thank you for your interest in the Swarovski crystal veil. She truly is stunning! There are multiple sized round and marquis shaped crystals, and yes they are all the same color. The veil is soft white and is approximately 9 ft long (cathedral length).

Also, are there any tears, rips, snags, stains, or discolorations on the veil or any discoloration with the crystals to be aware of? chrysta0 @jordanv012 nope, no imperfections that I’m aware of! I looked her over and I don’t see any obvious tears, stains or discolorations of fabric or crystals. However, there is 9 feet of fabric, so I cannot guarantee that I didn’t miss something tiny. But if there is any imperfection, it is so small that I cannot see it.

jordanv012 @chrysta0 @chrysta0 thank you for looking it over! Your description states that stones are more concentrated at the bottom and disperse as they travel up the veil. Can you tell me if there are stones at the top of the veil, like near the comb, or do they not start until lower? And finally, I didn’t ask what condition would you describe this veil in? Thank you for answering my questions, I’m asking multiple because this is a wedding gift for my sister! Thanks again!

chrysta0 @jordanv012 I do believe there are some scattered crystals that go all the way up the veil. The veil is in great condition! It may need to be steamed before wearing (to remove wrinkles) if you are not able to hang it for some time before wearing it, as it may become wrinkled during shipment.

jordanv012 @chrysta0 I understand ☺️ Truthfully, I am very excited about this veil and I would be more than happy to pay asking. However, when I asked about any tears or imperfections you stated you could not guarantee you didn’t miss something due to the veils size and if something was tiny. “Tiny” could be subjective and I would like to firmly know if something such as a tear, snag, or stain exists if I am paying the full asking price.

chrysta0 @jordanv012 I was able to stretch the veil out over a dark rug. No stains or discolorations noted anywhere. I did find a small tear in the tulle (added to photos). I forgot to originally mention the veil comes with extra Swarovski crystals for repairs in the event of snags or small tears.

A final question I would like to ask is that in our discussion, you stated the veil is approx. 9 ft. long- so 108 in. Is this the correct length measurement? Thank you!!

chrysta0 @jordanv012 yes, 108” is what I was told when I purchased it. I did take a quick measurement of it when it was laid out loosely, and I got 104”, so I’m sure when it’s stretched out it’s probably 108”.

jordanv012 @chrysta0 sounds good, thank you for clarifying. When you were looking over the veil, did you happen to take a picture of the whole veil spread out- with the top of the veil visible as well? Or do you have a picture of the top of the veil? You had said that the rhinestones disperse as the go up the veil, but I was unable to see that from the pictures.
