foresttreasures @mkred We have a sweet (but doesn't listen at all) beagle named Dylan, a cat, Lucy, who thinks she rules the world, (she is definitely the boss of us) & a 7.5lb bundle of joy, a chihuahua, named Stanley. He just showed up one day when we still lived in FL & decided we were his humans. He was about 6mnths old. No one was looking for him. Their loss.

foresttreasures @mkred He makes us laugh every day. I completely credit him with my hubby's recuperation after a massive heart attack & then a stroke. They are inseparable which is funny since we have always had bigger dogs. Noting like a cold nose & warm tongue!

foresttreasures Hi Amy! I just looked at your closet! It looks GREAT & I see that you sold some things already! AWESOME! I can also see you created a discount of 15% off 3 or more items & it is displayed in the top left corner. It stays there until you take it down or change the discount. If you do a listing that advertises your sale & it starts going down to the bottom of your closet, just share it to a party or to your followers & it will go back up to the top of your closet.

foresttreasures Just click on "Parties" on your top banner. It shows if a party is going on, & the next 3 coming up. If you click on 1 you are interested in, it will list the hosts. Most hosts have a listing in their closet announcing the party. Click that. It usually has instructions on how to get a host pick, or you can just congratulate them for hosting. Mention there, that you are new & have items that might be a good host pick. Your listings are clean & clear and pretty so they'll like them! Good Luck! C

foresttreasures long life span. Stan had seizures when he was young, but outgrew them. He just had stitches taken out after surgery to remove a tumor a few weeks ago. He is a tough little cookie & we adore him. He is the boss of us, our beagle & the cat even though we let her think she is the Queen. So far, we are good here in Hayesville, no virus here yet but there were a few cases in Murphy/Brasstown. Hope you are safe also in your part of NC. It is a scary time. Be well. Cindy

I have a beautiful rescue too, but she’s older than Micah and totally allows him to *think* he’s the boss. foresttreasures @musicallisa Awwww.... what a nice comment to read before I close up & hit the pillow! Thank you! It is actually beautiful here in the Nantahala Forest in Western NC. We live on a mountain & there is lots of wildlife to watch. I think that is why I work more, so I can put out corn for the deer & squirrels & crows & raccoons & possums. Also bird seed & hummingbird food. And, can't forget scratch for the wild turkeys & food for the 2 cats that have apparently decided to adopt our porch as home!

I lost my mom when I was 17 & was lucky to have a wonderful mom in law for another 17 yrs once I got married at 23, but I think it is fantastic that you can share this with your mother. cheryl1da My Mom and I can only Zoom or Skype since our state shut down ..gee, I forget exactly when we did! I send her everything. But, yes, it's nice to feel close when I know she is wearing something I bought her, whatever it is. It kindof takes the guilt off my becoming a doc. She was SO disappointed! Anything but that would have been fine. Oh well, you can't be perfect. LOL Cheryl

Went to college (2 yrs, definitely not Law School!) & then trained thoroughbreds at Phila Park for 10 yrs. We moved to Ft Myers FL in '96. Stayed for 17 HOT HUMID years. As soon as hubby retired, we moved up here to the mountains of Western NC. This is it. NEVER moving again. Love this area. Small town, clean air, beautiful scenery & lots of wildlife. PERFECT! Our move didn’t go very well and we had a number of issues with the movers, Cox Communications including the new home we are in! Been trying to get a lot of things repaired!
