ex_globetrotter Hi Cindy! Welcome! It's great that you have listings already,however, most of them are not posh compliant/women's fashion items. To be successful here, it's best that you list items that are allowed in the app. You can find them at the FAQs/selling guide. It's easy to start over with allowed items when you're new. cindywade5 @ex_globetrotter which ones are not allowed? I read through everything and didn't see where anything I listed is not allowed. I also looked first to see if others were selling similar items. I'm not trying to be difficult at all. I want to follow the rules.

ex_globetrotter Hi! It's tricky to find the selling guide sometimes but I have a list in my closet, if that's easier. 👍🏼 Lotions, used make up & perfumes are some of the items that are not allowed here. Unfortunately, some choose not be compliant & list them anyway. Closets like these get reported & some have been shut down. No worries, we didn't know at the beginning either but we help & learn from each other here. 👍🏼

ex_globetrotter Mascara/makeup is ok as long as it has never been opened & in sealed original packaging. If so, you can list it as NWT. This avoids red flags on it.

ex_globetrotter No problem. I just tagged you. Please feel free to stop by anytime. 💗 Poshmark gives everyone a second chance. Some closets may have been non compliant at a certain point in time but if they follow all the rules in 6months or so & stay compliant thereafter, then they're good. 👍🏼 As I said, it's easier to start over from the beginning before you get sales where listings can't be deleted anymore.

ex_globetrotter Unfortunately, some get away with it but it's best that we follow the rules. It doesn't mean that because they are listed here, they're allowed. It's probably overwhelming for posh to monitor all closets or even when items/closets get reported. If you're posh compliant, your closet will have a chance to get host picks at the virtual parties which help drive traffic into your closet. More eyes lead to more shares & sales. 👍🏼

ex_globetrotter No worries. I'm glad to be of help. Shared your mascara already. Oh, you might be asked if you trade as well. It is allowed but if things go south, Poshmark can't help you. And some might ask you to take sales off app. That is not allowed either. PM can only help you if you keep sales w/in the app. 👍🏼
