Sadly, a $5 offer on an item results in a $2 profit for a seller, which is normally less than what anything costs to acquire - much less takes into consideration a seller's time to list and shipping materials . The Poshmark platform requires the use of Priority Mail, sellers are not given a choice. Priority Mail provides tracking and delivery confirmation, which protects both sellers and buyers. If you want to pay shipping based on weight there are other platforms that offer this choice.

I have no issue paying what an item is worth but 8 dollars for an item that weighs ounces seems a bit much to me. I didn't realize that sellers did not a have choice.
