l_caylor Hey Colleen you commented on a vintage coach bag i had listed and i wanted to get some info to restore it. Do you have a recommendation for a certain leather conditioner. I love vintage things and i could reel your plead to not touch it and i wouldn’t think of just putting some random concoction on anything without first getting advice. I want to restore not ruin artifacts! Thank you!

strong15 @l_caylor Thank you so much for reaching out! Yes, I love saving bags and bringing them back. That bag is a NYC bag, so it's really tough, but delicate in some ways. If it needs to be cleaned or re-shaped, I always stick with saddle soap with the older bags (stuff with towels to shape while drying). I then follow up with Leather CPR when they are still slightly damp, which is a great moisturizer that shouldn't affect the color (especially darker bags).

strong15 This alone would be a good start. Lexol cleaners are also good to use if you continue to rehab bags. I forget if there are other issues, but feel free to ask anything!
