mpaulaw Hi Connie. I didn't get a chance to to answer your question. MPaula is a combination of my first 2 names (Marie Paula). The tradition of my (French-Canadian) father was that all girls have the name Marie and boys, Joseph. With 6 kids (3 of each), none of us could use that name. Way back a person could use their common name when setting up accounts (at the bank, for instance). So even if the legal name was Phillip Joseph, the bank would would accept Joey. That is no longer the case!

mpaulaw It is pronounced EmPaula but when I introduce myself I say I'mmmm Paula, going easy on the I. That way it is easier when they see my "legal" name. BTW Thanks for the Werther's candies. They were my mother's favourites and I hadn't had any since she died.

wangconstance96 @mpaulaw I really enjoyed learning about the family history in your name. I wonder if you and your brothers and sisters named their children with Joseph and Marie in it? You are very welcome about the candies. They are my favorites as well. I wish I could see what you create with your purchase. :)
