Welcome to Crafty Boutique! 🌼 My name is Maria Isabel Rivera and I’m a bilingual Speech Language Pathologist. In case you would like to know about my background… I was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico, an island located in the Caribbean. I speak Spanish as my native language and English as my second language. I studied my master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology at Carlos Albizu University in San Juan, Puerto Rico. While studying, I worked as a Special Education Teacher with two years of experience with the ASD student population in Puerto Rico. This page will become one of my many personal and professional goals, that is to start my new small business for all of my SLP for all colleagues. What do we do? We focus on all aspects of communication like receptive and expressive language, reading skills, fluency, voice, social interaction, articulation, phonology, assistive technology, feeding and swallowing.
