tenzindol Hi Crystal, The henna pens need to be cut a tiny bit before using. That way when you squeeze, it will go on smooth. Henna dries in 20 miniutes and you have to keep it on for minimum 3 hours. Usually in Indian culture they leave it overnight. It is orange at first and within 48 hours it oxidizes and develops into a dark colour. Washing it off immideately once it dries will not leave any stain. Also the expiry date is April 2019, so it should be good by then.

crystalxmagick @tenzindol I’m aware of how henna works, thanks. Been using it over 10 years. I will try cutting it to see if that helps. Just never had to do that before with this brand.. always had good luck with it before.
