cyndiclay @ksfashionfinds I have a B&M shop (non-fashion) and am in the process of moving to a new location, still trying to figure out if new USPS guidelines on package sizes impact shipping as I am up my neck in clothing and such things as knee high boots that I need an outlet for. Picked Poshmark, like platform and intend to begin stocking my closet this weekend. Any information on shipping tall boots much appreciated. Others I think I have the rest figured out. Thanks!

ksfashionfinds @cyndiclay you can order through www.usps.com there tall boxes made for shoes and as long as weighs under 5 lbs should be fine I’ve shipped 3 pairs of heels with gift and thank you card and was under 5 lbs. the box size is actually called shoe box ID 71/2 X 51/8 C 14 3/8 it is a priority mail box or you can send in any box as long as it isn’t expedited shipping box.

cyndiclay @ksfashionfinds I did order some of those, but wonder how extra long boots will fit, have several pair that are riding boots, English and Western. Can't be folded. Really nice ones. Boxes would have to be over 2-2 1/2' long to pack properly. Very sure they will work for the fashion heels and short men's boots though. Weight not a problem, all under the limit unless get a bundle then I can deal with overage postage if it comes up when weight is issue.

ksfashionfinds @cyndiclay do you have the boxes they came in? You can use those or any plain cardboard box I know Walmart sells plain large boxes for under $1 here otherwise just cover the original box with paper and put the label on is what I’d do or put in a larger box and add packing materials! ksfashionfinds @cyndiclay just looked you got some amazing pieces nice🤗❤️looks good one thing I’d suggest is the long maxi dress delete the first pic of it laying flat and have second pic be main pic and you can use a filter on the bottom in the future postings if you choose helps to lighten up first picture but I think your closet looks awesome 🤗☺️💕🌷🥰I shared your items! I have oodles to list, very happy to be a posher, some of it's a little intimidating, but I have sold on some other platforms. The bundling thing is sure to get me I think. Trying to figure that one out.

cyndiclay @thetreasurelady I just made my first sale and I have a question. It says I have 2 days to ship it out, is that business days Monday through Friday or does Saturday count as a day? Because I'm out of town a lot on Saturdays which will make it difficult to ship on weekends.

thetreasurelady @cyndiclay The 2 day handling time is just a suggestion. Weekends and holidays don't count 😊 I only ship Monday through Friday myself and have never had an issue 🙂

cyndiclay @latashavaughn08 I do that too. If I see someone has shared five of my listings I share 5 of theirs at least. if I get a new follower I try to remember to share at least one of their listings. I have crazy days when I miss a few but, I do try. LOL. Thank you for the warm welcome.

cyndiclay @thetreasurelady wow, some people are hard to please. I got four stars and one of his problems was that it wasn't shipped fast enough. It was in the mail in less than 2 hours. what the heck. said it wasn't clean but I freshly steamed it before I sent it. he didn't like the packaging but I put it in a cute plastic bag with stars and a sticker and wrapped in tissue paper. I included a handmade card with a thank you note handwritten. hmmmm... and sigh...

cyndiclay @thetreasurelady I blocked him for lying. Can prove shipping time. Told Poshmark, waiting for response. Maybe expecting poly mailer, not box? No idea. I haven't invested in polies yet. I wash everything that is washable. Can't wash silk so steamed it twice. It didn't have spots. It didn't smell because I live in a non-smoking non-pet household. I'm kind of got. Can't ship any faster than first thing the next morning. Doesn't he know that the shipping shows up when he ordered and I sent?

Left my mother on her deathbed to ship little dog statue and was in a hurry. I did not use this as an excuse at the time but I was very very emotional and in a hurry. have been extra careful since. grrrr

Please if you haven't done so use free USPS shipping boxes and mailers to ship your Poshmark orders in. You can use colorful stuffing paper to add a personal touch to your packaging. You can order free shipping supplies from usps.com and the post office will deliver it to you for free. Some sizes are also available at your local PO

I have the shoe size, the small square ones for small items and the large priority shipping boxes. delivered right to my door. I didn't realize the public couldn't see his remarks. thanks, I feel a little better.

cyndiclay @thetreasurelady I just sold something so I went to look at their profile to follow them and it says unable to find user. so that's weird. are people allowed to buy things off site? this hasn't happened to me before and it takes too long for customer support to get back to me. am I covered if I ship it? it's a hat.

cyndiclay @hauschildtz I mailed it the day after you ordered it and it never got scanned in for some reason. I'm as confused as you are. I don't have any control over after I drop it off at the post office. I mailed three packages out that day and the other two got delivered just fine. I have no idea what happened.
