I was looking for your original post cuzi had a question I wanted to ask! funny that your recent post pertains to my question! so how do you go about the sharing? I've read all the stuff from the FAQs and"how tos" here and I'm not seeing an answer. how/who do you share the listings with? thanks!

egpeloquin @midnightbimmer hi hon. so in your individual listing, there's 3 icons in the bottom. the Like, Comment, and Share icons. when you click the Share icon, it will show you different avenues of where you can share it. you can share it to your recent followers in Poshmark (that's why the more your followers are, the more chances you get exposures), FB, IG, Twitter, Tumblr, email, SMS, Messenger,etc.

egpeloquin @midnightbimmer once you click one of them, your item will be shared to that avenue. you have to do it individually unfortunately since there's no button that will have all your listings selected to be shared to wherever you want it to share. but that's okay, because when there's a Posh Party and it has a specific categories (e.g. bags and wallets), you can share your items that is in that category only for a certain amount of hours.

egpeloquin @midnightbimmer you can share them multiples times between that time frame until the party is done. the good thing about the posh parties is, there's a lot of Posh buyers looking for that specific category and even if they're not your followers, they can see your item if you shared it there.

egpeloquin @midnightbimmer also, when you share your items to your followers when the parties are done, share it multiple times in a day because of the different time zones in the US. the more you can share your items, the more people see your items. hope these helps and answered your questions.

egpeloquin @midnightbimmer last thing I forgot about sharing, when a follower shares your items, no matter how many they share, share their listed items back to your followers. it's like a give and take scenario only it's a sharing kind of thing. some followers that shares your items have over 100k followers, so when they share your items, they're helping you expose your items to their followers, so it's kind to share their listed items back to your own followers. I hope I'm making sense.

midnightbimmer @egpeloquin thanks so much for all that info, I had no idea... and was thinking if people are sharing mine, makes sense I do the same for them, even though I only have like 100 followers! but you have to do it one item at a time?! that's crazy... no way I can take time to go into each of their items (many people have 100s of things) to share them all. and I'm not active on FB or any of the other social media places. so maybe this format won't really work well for me. 😞

midnightbimmer @egpeloquin sorry, I sent that off quickly cuz I was running out the door. is there any way to more easily share people's listings? I wanna do the right thing, but I don't see how I'd have time to be able to share as much as I'd like to. how do people do this? I'm hoping there's some sort of short cut that can be done? I'd like to be a good Posher! 😊

egpeloquin @midnightbimmer hi hun, with the sharing of items from your followers, you don't have to share their entire closet when they share some of your. so for example, if they shared 2 of your items to their followers, you can return the favor back by sharing 2 back of theirs. and unfortunately, there is no other way of sharing your items all at once. I wish there was too. but it's not available right now. for the meantime, just keep on sharing your items to your followers if you don't have FB, etc.

egpeloquin the more you share your items to your followers, the more you expose your items to their followers when they share it back. it's a tasking job sometimes especially when you have over 100 items. that's why i set a time to do my sharing in a day, when i know I am not as busy, like early in the morning, lunch time, and before i go to bed. hopes this helps. :-)

midnightbimmer @egpeloquin hi again! thanks so much for your help! I did go out and share a few items for everyone who shared mine. does that jump bump up the listings in the search results? I haven't noticed where anything has been shared to me, like a special place to show shared things.

midnightbimmer @egpeloquin and also, one other question I have if you don't mind... when I've liked items I usually get an offer from the seller... is that normal or expected protocol for likes? so when someone likes one of my items, should I make an offer to them? thanks again!

egpeloquin @midnightbimmer hi cynthia, I believed the shared items goes to the news feed. and it comes and goes so fast because of all other items being shared. with the offer question, yes, it's kind of a thing here in Poshmark that once someone likes an item, the seller immedia sends an offer because sometimes that's how you can reel potential buyers in, by sending discount offer and discounted shipping. some bites so that's how sales happened.

egpeloquin @midnightbimmer BUT, when someone sends you an offer to the items you liked, you don't have to counter offer, or be obligated to accept. you can decline the offer or just let it expired, and still remain the like of the item, just in case you'd like to purchase it in the future. once you're ready to buy the items you liked, you can send them an offer anytime.

I will keep looking for buying things but not to sell. I see others with the same bag as me, in used condition (mine is NWT), listed for more than twice what I'm asking and she has twice as many likers. she's not selling either, so guess it doesn't even matter. 😒
