mothermayi6719 Hello Cynthia I received the sneakers today, and they are beautiful! The only issue is the smell. There is a very strong chemical smell , what is the smell?

glamour1985 @mothermayi6719 good evening, glad to hear that the item was received the smell must be the covering which was the white plastic bag. The actual top was damaged and I did not want to send it that way so I decided to cover the sneaker with white plastic bag that comes with a fragrance. You can throw the bag away and hopefully that will work. let me know if that works. Have a wonderful night and thanks for the feedback.

mothermayi6719 @glamour1985 Hi I also use the white plastic bags with fragrance but that is not the smell. The smell is a strong chemical order. I sat them on my deck overnight and it still smells so bad. I’m not sure if I should throw them in the washer machine ? This shoe is definitely not worth the 100.00 just because of the harsh smell. It gives me a headache

glamour1985 @mothermayi6719 Good evening, I am extremely sorry to hear that believe me the sneaker did not have any smell whatsoever while in my possession. I have reason to believe it was the plastic bag because sneakers do not have any strong scent. I purchased those a while from a certified Nike store and they were fine. I sell lots of sneakers and none carried any smell it has to be the plastic bag covering.

glamour1985 @mothermayi6719 If you choose to wash them in the machine please let me know if the smell is still present. I will contact Nike give the sku number perhaps they will be able to issue another one.

mothermayi6719 @glamour1985 can this be returned & refunded? They sat outback in the outside air for 48 hours and they still smell like harsh chemicals. Not plastic bag fragrance, hash chemicals. I’m sorry I can not keep these. Please instruct me how to return these back to you

mothermayi6719 @glamour1985 hello my daughter put them in the washer and the smell is almost gone. We are going to wash them one more time. I decided to keep them. I wish I wouldn’t of spent so much on them. Thanks and God bless.
