@magpiemaven Yes! My yard is an established deer path, too! I have kept a Deer Diary for 22 years, tracking birth, death, and lineage of many bands. One band of Doe’s and their yearlings I have named the “Avon Ladies”, as their eye lids are are very high and white like they’re wearing too much white eyeshadow. I love that you have a deer friendly property ❤️. The Doe in the photo is Delores. She is a sweet girl💕

@mitzpaws1 What a beautiful and enchanting area to live! I have visited there several times and just loved it! Haven’t tried coyote urine yet, but did have some success with peppermint oil, which also seemed to keep the aphids at bay. Anymore, I just plant all kinds of Salvias and grasses since the deer leave those alone. If you’ve discovered any “deer proof” (like there’s such thing🤣), I’d love to know!☀️🐿

@kativa5 Hi Katie! Yes, we are doing as well as we can under these scary circumstances, and are remaining optimistic that our fire situation won’t worsen. We are at Phase 1 evacuation, the smoke is terrible, but the weather has improved which will help our heroic firefighters. Drove to town to get a signal to see what’s going on in the world & to message all my lovely friends who are looking out for me❤️. Thank you looking after me❤️💕🧡. I have quite a few of those I call them “My Baby Deer”. I just luv them and have treats for them all the time. I live in the city on about 3 acres of woods so I try and keep them off the busy roads. But who knows where they go when they finish getting their bellies full on corn. I know my babies are now having babies. I luv your photos!! Best wishes with your lovely Posh closet❤️👍😊🌹🌹🌹

Daidre I love your post pictures. We live on 10 acres in the woods & only cleared where the house was built. About six miles from our house there was a game hunting preserve and the owner cut down all the trees & built a housing complex. All of the animals in the preserve were just allowed to find some other places to stay. We have a huge Buck and a pregnant doe with two yearlings, foxes, raccoons, owls, turkeys & toms.

Unfortunately we also have a bobcat & a lot of coyotes. One of those two tore apart my daughters cat, so now our cats are inside cats. Unfortunately, they open after I have left for work, and close before I get home. I will be able to get it on Friday.
