Hi again, I just saw this morning that the AE website has put Tupelo’s on sale for $150... you can add your own trees bags horn and laces for 35 + 4 + 5 + 3 which would only be $197 total .... unfortunately for me I paid more than that and posh takes 20% so I will lose out when AE has a clearance ... so if you want me to cancel the order, no problem Erec

I have canceled this order. I actually did see that myself. But the real reason I'm canceling that is because I read on the reviews that the shoe is actually made in the Dominican republic. I can accept imported shoes from other brands but I'm not buying a pair of Allen Edmonds that are supposed to be USA handcrafted that are made in Dominican republic. I'm sorry.

@acuraman1 No problem at all and no reason to be sorry!! I have about eight pairs of AE and they are all from Wisconsin ... In fact I would say more than 90% of the 590 I’ve sold in the last year have been USA, 5% from AE’s factory in the DR and 5% from their Italian collection.... the most similar USA model would be Strand ... thanks again Erec

@acuraman1 and as I said, my personal AE collection is all USA shoes, so I cannot tell you how the DR shoes feel or fit or even last over time, since all the DR shoes I’ve sold have been brand new (Tupelo, Shane, Surrey) ... :smile:
