Hi Dana, thanks for the question on the Vasque boots. I've temporarily de-listed them bc I want to make sure they're authentic through a pro, since I'm not the first owner. I'd hate to Posh an item that was a knockoff! Hopefully I'll have more detailed answers on their functionality later on today. Just wanted to let you know, and not leave you hanging on that question! @deano27 Good Morning! Vasque FINALLY got back to me this morning regarding those boots. Their product development team said they're definitely authentic and that they're likely from the 60's or 70s. So, they'd been sitting in someone's closet, untouched, for decades. I've seen other similar models from that era that are still highly functional hiking boots (although very beat up), so my guess is that these would be as well. (cont.)

@deano27 Unfortunately I can't personally test them, as my feet are about 3 sizes too big, but what I can tell you is the sole is very rigid, and the outer and inner construction is near mint for their age. Hope that helps, and again, sorry for the delay!
