drmerritt @shopmeeclectic This is the first time I've bought sketchers so I'm unsure. I don't think a smaller size would work, it may just be the way the mesh is made. I did have someone suggest putting those heel huggers you can get at most stores. I will go down another 5$ on them if your mom wants to try them. Just let me know. Thanks Dana
