apriljerseygirl N your gorgeous to boot. Do u work out? I'm trying to lose 10 lbs N I just can't N I see u have a lot of work out clothes..any tips on staying thin?

danelllle @apriljerseygirl sure thing! Honestly the biggest difference for me was actually beginning to lift weights and circuit train!! Ppl think cardio (treadmill, elliptical, etc) is what to do for weight loss but it's not true! If you lift weights you burn more calories for 24 hours post-workout! :)

danelllle @apriljerseygirl also if/when you do cardio NEVER do the same level/interval for the entire time. ALWAYS do HIIT (plz google not enough room ha) and for example go level 8 for one minute then when you can't do level 4 for 1-2 minutes & repeat. You can burn same/more calories this way in 20min rather than steady state cardio for 45

apriljerseygirl @danelllle wow really. Well I just started a gym n I go around and do 3 sets of 10 on them. N especially working on arms n core. N I do 20 min on treadmill just to get my blood pumping before lifting. So I'm starting to do the rt thing then. Ty. I'm 46 n it's tuff at my age but I know it can be done. I did p90x 2 years ago n looked fab! But I should if kept going that was my prob.ty really!!

danelllle @apriljerseygirl awesome! See P90x is HIIT & circuits all in one! Such a good home workout option. Also if you're targeting arms/core definitely make sure to target lifting your back. The wider your back is the smaller your waist appears ;) it's a helpful little trick that works wonders and I swear by it.

danelllle @apriljerseygirl @apriljerseygirl If you're on the treadmill just work your butt off for a minute then take 1-2 min to regain your breath BUT don't go too easy on yourself it should still be a workout the whole time! I started out running at 6.0 for a min then waking at 3.7 (very brisk) 2 min and kept raising it
