ef4l Hi Dani...I just wanted to say God bless you...I was diagnosed with stage IV breast cancer and it is nothing nice...you seem to have the right attitude. dani4274 @ef4l hi there! Thank you so much for your sweet words! I so appreciate them. I was diagnosed in 2011 so it’s been quite a journey! I was actually supposed to have a mastectomy this coming Monday 3/26, but there was a huge scheduling mistake and so I got bumped. Not sure when the new date is. I definitely try to keep positive. It especially helps to buy or trade new pretties lol. I have met some pretty wonderful people on here. Thank you for being one of them 💗

dani4274 @ef4l thanks so much.... it’s all about the makeup lol. I do have metastatic, yes. At initial diagnosis there were tumors in the lymph nodes, mediastinum, abdomen, pelvis and near my heart as well as the main tumor in the breast. All the tumors are gone except for the lymph nodes and breast. There are now 3 large tumors

dani4274 @ef4l In the breast and at initial diagnosis there was only 1. And there are 4 lymph nodes involved. That’s the reason for the mastectomy. The 3 tumors are so big and in such a small area that they’re cutting off the blood flow and have been causing major infections.

dani4274 @ef4l we’ve been trying to shrink them for a while. At first it was only 1 tumor in the breast and now that there’s 3, the chemo isn’t working so it’s time for drastic measures now.

dani4274 @9saratogasal oh my gosh! How scary that you went through all that only to find out it was a mistake! How are you doing now? I had a unilateral mastectomy 4 months ago today. I am now on my 19th round of radiation and have 2 weeks left. Hoping to be NED by the holidays! :)

9saratogasal @dani4274. I expect miracles surrounding you.. what happened to me happen in 2000. She left biopsy wire in and never took out. Couldn't figure out why my right breast was so infected after biopsy. No one ever told me truth until a surgeon got my records in 2012 and told me that was reason for the thousands of cysts when they opened me.

9saratogasal @dani4274. They had decided to do double to be even. Plastic surgeon never should have put bags in right away. Way to large. Went right through my skin. He tried 3 times unsuccessfully. Finally, by then the stock market had eaten my life of half million dollars in 2000...I was so depressed.. A surgeon from Stanford was called into the hospital to see me..

9saratogasal @dani4274he immediately..the next morning removed bags and had nothing for a year.. I'm still ver lopsided and look like I went through a windshield. Now, I live on disability and use the money I have to build inventory to profit Clint Eastwood Animal Rescue. Please take a peek into my closet.
