miriamzirato hi, if u havent shipped yet pls let me know. i am concerned it is not aurhentic and may end up having to return it if it turns out it is not real...just trying to save u the hassel of shipping. do u have any evidence to believe its authentic?

danhig84 @miriamzirato Hello. I did ship already and dropped it off this morning. They did scan it when I dropped it off so I'm not sure why its saying waiting to be scanned. But the tracking number is 9405 5112 0206 1844 8182 76.

danhig84 Now as stated in the ad it does not have a standard hologram, serial number, or any normal identifier. I only know this because that is what I was told by a vintage Chanel dealer and a place I paid $20 to authenticate.

danhig84 I buy and sell many things but have never done any kind of clothing etc. I sell antiques and collectibles and this was out of an estate sale. Also the dealer that I took it to said that very old Chanel bags didn't have any of those features and that they are sometimes mistaken as not real when in fact they are.

miriamzirato @danhig84 I totally understand all that, j just have some.l doubts is all and i feel maybe I jumped the gun on ordering.l, didn't look too closely at pics.. but once i recieve it, ill have authentication check done, just to ease my worries and i will happily keep it if all is good. just curious, does it have "chanel/made in Italy" [ or France p stamped on the inside somewhere? I didn't see a pic of that in the listing. I know there isnt a hologram or # but should def. say chanel interior..

danhig84 @miriamzirato Yes it does say Chanel and possibly did say made in Italy but that part is no longer visible. The Chanel IS VISIBLE on the side of the burgundy interior just below the inner side pocket in gold. It is worn and faded because it is many decades old but you can see it. I do hope you like this bag because it is quality vintage.

miriamzirato @danhig84 hi sorry had a busy weekend and start to my week. I wasn't able to have it authenticated in the window of return but I do love it, and with my limited experience it does seem to be authentic. it was a great price if it is truly vintage authentic and if not, its a damn good replica and even those sell for 200 to 400. so i am satisfied. thanks fmso much
