Hi! I'm Danielle! I have lost some weight along with relocating from NY to FL & am continuing to go through my wardrobe getting rid of items I can no longer get use out of! Most items are plus sizes and most are from Torrid. As being plus size I know how hard it is to find clothing for a fashionable wardrobe! ame429 @daniann5 aww I wish I was that tall😭 I'm only 5'1' and I have a HUGE chest! I'm a 44DD. It sucks. I used to be a little petite thing in high school but I had 3 kids one in my mid 30's that I just can't get the weight off from. I'm telling you, it's a lot harder at 45 then when I was 25. I make jewelry too btw. I'm going to be making bangle bracelets and floating lockets this week.

daniann5 @ame429 awe i know the chest struggle. But now i went from a 38DD to a 38C which i think is a fluke because i have tube socks on my chest and feel like they are more a full A hahaha thanks to the weight loss. Gotta take the good with the bad these days haha

ame429 @daniann5 lol tube socks! I have to find big tops and I'm in a xl Xxl in leggings but I bought a 18 in capris and realized they were falling down! I don't know if I lost a few pounds or its just the pants. I ordered 2 more pairs so I'll see. I'm going to be knitting a infinity scarf and circle scarf too. If you're into those. Oh and ponchos!! I love them

daniann5 @sann707 thanks!! And absolutely ! It's def not an easy way out or an answer to weight loss but it's proven to be a tool that's drastically helped me to successfully lose weight. Im not sure if you're on Instagram but i have several posts that help show my progress along with FB groups that help pre & post surgery. I always say it took me 20 some odd years to hate myself i have to give myself time to learn to love myself and break all of the self hate habits

dals_boutique Hi again. I measured the dress and I think you can wear it but I don't know how you like your dresses to be as far as length on your legs. I think this will be a mini dress. You can wear tights with it.

daniann5 @fababscloset its also known by vsg.Its like bypass but instead of bypassing portion of the stomach the sleeve actually removes that portion entirely. Def worth doing lots of research. It hasnt been a cure but its been the only tool thats helped me successfully lose weight so far. Im not too fond of the lapband bc i dont like the idea of a foreign object inside me plus the other risks. If u ever have any ?s my life is basically an open book :)

daniann5 @fababscloset Diff surgeons and ins are all different when it comes to qualifying a lot of trial &error &applying for surgery is a headache but totally worth it in the end just do your homework and you have to be completely ready for it, its not easy and it usually requires a complete lifestyle change

farmandfancy Good to know. I have Kaiser so I'm not sure if they offer it but I will do some research for sure. I have been ready to make a big change for a while now. I already have moderate degenerative arthritis in my back on top of siatica- it's ridiculous and I'm only 28.

Ive always led an active lifestyle and was always conscience about what i ate etc but id still eat emotionally basically and i also had a form of annorexia when i was younger which never helped. I tried & failed at every possible option. Each surgery is recommended differently depending on individual person

daniann5 @fababscloset def do some research on all options then research surgeons around you and set up consults and get their professional opinion. I was 354 the morning of my surgery!!! My lowest was 248 after surgery and i wanted to reach 240 instead of losing the 8lbs i gained 8 so am working on getting back on track

daniann5 @rykerstitch awe thanks so much. I actually have struggled and battled with weight and self image my entire life. I had the vertical sleeve surgery done almost 2 years ago now. I recommend the surgery and wish i had it done sooner but everything happens for a reason :)

daniann5 @rykerstitch they wouldnt do the surgery i had for 30 lbs but i think there are other options you can turn to! Def search and find a bariatric surgeon in your area and consult with them and see what they professionally recommend and can do to help you :)

daniann5 @dashmob heyy! It will be 2 years this december 1st. Honestly your body kind of controls it and won't let you get too small. The weightloss slows and eventually stops. Youll gain/lose throughout so your body finds its happy medium. My BF said i was getting too small and thinks i look the best now (i gained like 18 lbs in the past year) i hate it but i also fell off the strict wagon i was on with my diet so kind of my own fault

daniann5 @dashmob sorry for the broken up messages back haha it only lets you type so many characters.. but i totally recommend it def do lots if research etc and talk with surgeons to find the best route for you. Make sure YOURE the one whose ready fully and doing it for YOU. It took me like 5 years to finally fully be ready and follow through on actuak surgery. I wish i did it sooner but know it happened the way it did for a reason

daniann5 @dashmob absolutely haha im 25. And i do have loose skin but id rather have loose skin than less years on my life and extra pounds. I first was like ill lose weight and be a tiny tight toned person.. haaa a bit more research and i was like i wont ever be a tight toned person without surgery but theres more to life etc than worrying about loose skin. Its not an easy fix or cure all.. it def requires a lot of mental work and lifestyle commitments

daniann5 @dashmob it doesnt hurt to speak with surgeons and get literature from them on surgeries and dos and donts etc. I wont lie i still look in the mirror often and see the 300+ lb me and often feel like i didnt lose 100 lbs but that just helps prove its def not a cure all it takes a lot but i wouldnt change it for the world.
