mainelythrifted I just love your shop! So creative! As a lifelong thrifter and collector, now 60 years young, it is always a joy to meet a young person who is interested in the vintage stuff. I love clothes and jewelry, but you have inspired me to list some other items. I had not wanted to get into having to wrap and ship breakables. Do you have any advice?

gcbvintage @mainelythrifted Thank you! Ever since I was a little kid, I've always enjoyed thrift stores and antique shops. I just started selling in October and I've truly found my calling! My best advice for selling breakables is bubble wrap and newspaper will be your best friends. 😁 And request all the free boxes you can from USPS!

mainelythrifted @gcbvintage Been selling in an antique mall. It was hard to get motivated to price items and get them there. Started with posh cuz it seemed so easy, and I love it. I do have 3 diff size USPS boxes on hand. I did that before I listed 'cause I thought a sale might happen quickly, lol. Still haven't sold anything, but I had a great time taking tons of pics today, so now to get listing! Best wishes for lots of sales for you!

gcbvintage @islandtrove Honestly, it depends on the week. I also cross-list. But don't expect it to sell for top value on here, and that's alright with me. I'm a stay-at-home mom, so I do this to supplement our income. No assistant. I also use USPS Pick Ups, so I pack items and set them outside my door - super simple, no post office runs! 😁
